August was difficult for Ronnie, the intense heat that we had was a massive struggle for everybody although Ronnie certainly suffered more than we did. Ronnie didn't know what to do with himself during the day or night. He was very unsettled all the time during the extreme weather we had, although he did feel better after being in the paddling pool cooling off with us all. He wouldn't eat or drink properly and we pretty much kept his boots and bar for his feet off the whole time as it was so much for him. Thankfully he had no appointments at the hospital for a while so we literally had very lazy days throughout the heat.
